Infidel and the lacklustre Muslim response

The questioning of Islam by Infidel is not bringing on a spirited defence by Muslims. Cut and paste jobs are hardly to the point. I have a feeling that most Muslims have so far only studied the Quran by rote and have not internalised it. If they have, they could have easily countered any 'attacks' by being philosophical (i.e., putting things in a larger perspective). Muslims, at least those responding in NDTV blogsphere, seem unable to do it. Holding on to Islam due to fear of Allah appears to have limited Muslims’ option to just quoting the Quran without philosophizing it, for fear of not getting it to tally with the official version. However, if the Muslims ever begin to philosophise about Islam, then Islam would flower into Sufism (i.e. move from dogma to spiritual). Then peace would finally dawn in the world of religion.

I am unable to praise Infidel enough and do not want to sound hackneyed in trying to do so. Nevertheless, I must once more say, Infidel, you are making a pioneering and tireless effort to make our Muslim brothers see the truth of the impossibility of God ceasing to speak after the 7th century and giving the final message in Arabic language. If at all a God had to give anything like a ‘final message’, He would have done it by instilling in us a capability that we would awaken to by and by – and this He has done right at the time of creation itself by giving us the gift of awakening to our higher consciousness – a possibility sought to be understood by many, except those whose options have been foreclosed by a dogmatic approach to religion.

Venu... sufi was a response given, when indians refused to accept islam under all conditions...by threating they made arabia islamized, which travelled down till presia... but the trick haven'T worked in india...people decided to die, instead of accepting islam... they had thrown all money in deep wells.. womens commited johar/sati in respose of islam... at last islam was loosing.. and they 1st time accepted in history, to accept what they tag pagans...anyways if you think indian muslims haven't "internalised" themself.. then i will say if hindus come in that place... Islamic existance will vanish out...

How can you make one understand who doesn't want to understand? One who doesn't believe in God? One who creates a blog for mischief mongering and abuse? One who doesn't believe in the various creations of God and asks for proof done by some HUMAN scientists and questions God using the works of human beings, how can one explain to such fools and bigots?When a DOG barks it is better to avoid him and go your way..that is the work of an intelligent person.

Look, Believer, It is all about a certain attitude that is reflected in your comment. Your expressions upto "... using the works of human beings" are all acceptable, understandable and debatable. But why did you suddenly use the phrase "such fools and bigots"? Also, why do you consider questions as "dog barks"? I find this pattern repeated almost without fail by Muslim bloggers or those who take up the Islamic position. These blogs and comments are not private conversations; they are a public broadcast, albeit limited to a certain medium. A large number of persons read the blogs without necessarily noting their comments. So what you write is not for any individual, but a statement of views or positions for the readers at large. Therefore record your expression with malice towards none.

Dear Perfektm, The Hindu vision of Advaita has had the most profound spiritual influence in all history and even when not obvious, it always underscored all religiosity. It was a pervasive phenomenon, reaching all corners of the world. In Arabia too the culture had developed and its adherents were known as Sufis - but the coming of Islam threatened its existence and to survive, it took on the outer trappings of Islam but always had the Advaitic soul intact. Jesus’ teaching also was essentially Advaitic, but the Church managed to brutalise it. With the advent of foreign conquest, the advaitic soul of Hinduism went into a retreat. Now again, since Swami Vivekananda burst upon the scene, Advaita has had a slow and steady flowering and it has already had an impact on Christianity and it would before long have an impact on Islam too, which would see the resurfacing of the Sufi culture through Islam.

Then how come quran and god became one? you people are simply idiots.If quran is god's words, how can it have so many errors in it? Only one single error proves that it is not from god, but from pedo MO, Who deceived muslims for last 1400 years in the name of god and circumcised brains like you still believe in it.Good for you to be in this cult because if you come out of it, still I doubt that your dead-brain will start working or not.
